We bought a house!!

Sometime around March of this year, Paul told me he really felt like we needed to be living in Marion this fall. My response wasn’t great… I believe my words were “well you better pray for a miracle because there’s no way we’ll be able to buy a house before Fall 2021.”  

I was a total negative Nancy. BUT GOD goes before us and prepares a way to whatever it is He calls us to. We see him do this time and time again throughout the Bible — He’s famous for it. He promises to go ahead of us, to be with us, and to follow behind us. And He never breaks His promise.  

“I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.”

Isaiah 45:2

“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Deuteronomy 31:8

“You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.” 

Psalm 139:5

We felt God at work in the whole process, guiding us along, and we are so unbelievably grateful. He moved mountains to make this happen for us. This is the exact house we prayed for. Prayer is powerful, friends. God is powerful. 

I’ll have to share the story of how God brought us to this house soon. But, in the meantime, here are the listing photos of the house! We’ve got some work to do before we move in — even more than we originally planned as we’ve uncovered some bigger issues —  and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I know God will provide what we need to get it done.

I can’t wait to share everything we do to make this house a home for our family. I’m praying that we use this house to glorify God and that God would show us how to do that well.
